Q: I am currently going to school to get my associates in veterinary technology. My dilemma is that i want to get my degree in veterinary medicine and specialize in Africa's big cats as well as other African wildlife... Should i carry on with my associates and will it get me into veterinary school or should i get a bachelors in zoology and go from there? Thank you for your time.

A: I think it's great that you're getting your degree as a vet tech.  It will definitely help you do what you want and should also help you get into veterinary school.  My advice in terms of getting into zoo and wildlife medicine is that it's a small field with few positions, so you need to create as many opportunities as possible and go from there!  Good luck, and go for it.
