There's no way I can pick out one favorite experience, as they are all different, but the best part of my job is working closely with animals and the people who care for them sharing the bond of friendship they have between them. 

For example, I enjoy spending time with the trackers who follow the mountain gorillas. They have their own unique relationship with the animals they follow each day.  For this reason, their jobs are similar in some ways to keepers who work in a zoo or people who own pets.  I also know that my ability to help animals depends on the people who take care of them on a daily basis.

For me personally, I love taking long walks with my labrador, Ptero (teh-ro).
