If the patients in the book are still alive, where can I go to see them?

Below is a list of the patients we know are still alive, along with their whereabouts;

Aussie, an adult male polar bear, lives at the Brookfield Zoo outside of Chicago, IL.

Hondo, an adult male chimpanzee, lives at the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro, NC.

Kachina, an adult female black bear, lives at the Wildlife Waystation in Little Tujunga Canyon near Los Angeles, CA.

Kayavak, an adult female beluga whale, lives at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, IL.

Mohan, an adult male greater one-horned or Asian rhino, lives at the Miami Metro Zoo in FL.

Yaloda, an adult female giant panda, lives at the Chengdu Research and Breeding Base for the Giant Panda in Chengdu, China.

The Katrina Dolphins, a group of male and females of mixed ages, live at the Atlantis Resort in Nassau, Bahamas.

Below is a list of the patients who were released back into their natural habitats. We can only hope they are alive today;

BakerD, a male Pacific dolphin, was reunited with his family group in the waters off the Channel Islands, CA.

Earring Boy, a male white-tailed deer, was released in the woodlands near Waynesboro, VA.

Joliami, a male mountain gorilla, may be one of many lone silverbacks who range in the forests of the Virunga Massif in Rwanda, Africa.

Patch, a male hobby falcon, was released near Healesville Sanctuary, Australia.

The adult male Bactrian camel described in "Camel in the Snow" lives in Mongolia’s Gobi desert where his movements continue to be tracked by scientists.

Tobbie Deux, a male African forest elephant, recovered and returned to the forest of Gabon, Africa.
